About
Founded back in December 2004, Canuck software is single-handedly run by myself, Jason Robitaille. I've been developing for the PalmOS since high school and have continued to develop throughout my current years at the University of Manitoba.
Canuck Software was originally created as a simple website to host the amateur applications I made. It has since evolved into a full-featured website with a multitude of useful and expandable applications. All of my applications are created in my spare time, which as a guy in his early 20s attending university and trying make a living, I tend to have little of. For that reason, all donations are welcomed. If you would like to donate, simply click the paypal donate button in the navigation menu to the left.
With the recent unveiling of the Palm Pre and the WebOS, I have stopped development of my PalmOS applications and gone towards the world of the WebOS. Doing such, I've released many world first, including WebOS Quick Install, the first cross-platform GUI ipk installer, and Internalz, the first file manager for the WebOS.
Over the next few months, I have many more WebOS applications and updated planned. It's an exciting time to program for the WebOS!
